70/71 prices have all been hit with the bullshit takumi tax like all 86's have.
once they became papular and everyone realised
4 doors are waaaay cooler than 2... (puts flame suit on)
hunt the trader and the tiser. sometimes those nannas dunno what theyre worth.

The thing is, they don't. You just need to face the fact that they are becoming rarer everyday and even a rusty ae71 will command 1000 bucks thanks to t50, pedal box, 4a motor etc.
They are out there but unless you want an auto, slant ke70 you will need to spend 1000 upward. When you take a look at how reliable and close ae71's are to an 86, a rust free stocker WILL sell for 2000.
