Finished off the cooler piping and got the front back together. Its a nice fit, nicer than I expected. Makes for a clean sleeper sort of look from the outside.
Diff in next should be done by next weekend then off to the exhaust shop.
Hi my names Alex and I own a 1976 Celica.
Bought it while I was at schoolies up on the central coast (NSW) off a 87 year old. It was pretty well kept. Then I did a few bad things and it not so great anymore. But iI'm trying to get her back to a respectable state.

Wheels
Currently 16x8 -4 superlites but I'd prefer some ssr meshies 15x8 -4 on the front and 15x10 -13 on the back. If I've got the cash and can find them.
It should make about 300rwKw on E85 and 26psi and run an 11 sec pass pretty easy. I don't really want this as a street/drag car thou I'd like it to handle abit better than the titanic as I love old back roads Ols Putty Rd to Broke being my favourite. Anyway let me know what you guys think.
Some pics..

Got a few more things done.
Diff is in with a couple of problems. One of the shock bolts snapped in the mount. As I found out on the other side the threads had been pretty severely rusted so I drilled and tapped out the stud with 1/2" thread. Also found out that the wheel studs were changed to ford 1/2" so I have to order some spline nuts as my the stud holes on the superlites are too small in diameter to fit a 21mm socket.
Also got the coilpacks mounted. Its a pretty crude flat mount I made up But it will do for now. I really want to get an AC/DC tig so I can at least attempt to weld all the aluminium shit but just can't afford it right now.
Managed to get the shifter in. Had to cut the tunnel a further 125mm back as me W58 has the 21.5" shifter position. Covered up the remainder of the hole with some 4mm rubber until it goes in to the beaters then I'll close it up with some metal. Once its on the ground I'll be able to get the exhaust done.
Hi just a little bit of an update.
Got the strut bar in and changed the coils needed ones with an internal igniter rather than buying the $400 haltech module.
Also found some GT badges for the front and rear. Had to make my own clamp.
And finally after months and months of searching I've finally found a decent set of ta22 flatlights. Cost me an arm and a leg though feels like I don't want them on the car just in case something happens.
