leave it slanty... infact leave the outside exactly how it is... super nice
Just bought myself a KE70, was auto but converted to 4A-C and 5 speed manual. Two owner car. It will serve as a grip track car and my intent is to take it along to every event I can - no matter the running gear at the time.
The car:
MOD LIST
Engine:
4A-C conversion
Drivetrain:
T50 manual conversion
Exedy Button clutch
Suspension:
Lowered rear (suzuki sierra shocks), very hard (possibly too hard)
Aesthetics:
Superlites
Coming up:
A good polish
Quad headlight conversion.
T18 front and rear chrome bumpers.
Coilover conversion.
Track build bigport 4AGE or 20V (if I can find one cheap).
Lower control arms replaced.
+ anything else I think of between now and getting the next paycheck
Ideally it will end up as an okay looking, street registered, track b*tch.

very nice man very clean looks exactly the same as mine did when i got it.. before i regretfally resprayed it a different colour!.. keep the body original i say wish i kept mine red
8AGE 1.9L only way to go!
Pretty cool. Nice and clean.
minty fresh! will be keeping my eye on this
looks good as is. nice, clean and tasteful!
Why 4AC conversion? You're halfway there, why not go 4AGE?
maybe the same reason i am thinking of a 4ac conversion? which is that you can pick up a defected ae71 for sub $1k and change everything over. going 4age will cost a a bit extra and if you've got a 4ac there why not use it? 4ac has definately got a lot over the 4k.
4age will be sick in that though
Ah the owner before me was a mechanic. His intentions were to do a 4AGE conversion. Unfortunately for him (and fortunately for me) he ran out of cash and went halfway.
Upsides for me are that its got all the running gear ready to bolt down a 4AGE, it has a button clutch that suits a bigport flywheel, and it has the mint superlites (which have to be worth as much as the car). The 4AGE will be going in sometime soon.
Actually I found a 20V for less than a grand but it has no loom or ecu - which is annoying.
I took it into pedders, hobart today and had them take a look at it. Spent a good half an hour sorting out what it was we would do to the rear. Monday it goes in and the track setup will replace it.
