    ughhh. Magnet-thingos don't require power.

There's one signal wire for the 24 teeth wheel(black), one each for G1(red) and G2(green) which are 180 degrees apart. The other wire is ground(white). Info is straight from c4ag.

You probably only need one of the reset signals and just tell it how far it is away from TDC but I dunno anything about haltechs.

depending on which haltech you choose. I used the E8

here is the wiring diagram so u can see whats going on. taken straight for the haltech web site.

You can also download the ECU specific opporation/install manual. its a great read and u will learn alot about the ECU from this.

Here is some info in the toyota ignition system thanks to Toymods

    k.

the 4a dizzys are Reluctor type.. they dont require a 12v power supply.
U can read why in the toymods link above.

The haltech needs: 2 inputs and 1 Earth

    Assignment / Colour

    Ground - (earth) / (L) Blue
    Home - ( indicates TDC # 1) / (G) Green
    Trigger - (24 thooth cam position) / (Y) Yellow

Your dizzy has: 3 outputs and 1 earth

    Assignment / Colour

    Trigger (NE) / Black
    Home (G1) / Red
    Home (G2) / Green
    G1/G2 common Earth (G-) / White

The haltech only needs 1 home trigger - for TDC #1 Cylinder- The ECU then figures out the rest. as you can see the 20v dizzy has 2.. i assume the other being 180' out.

    SO.... to wire up

    20v Dizzy / Haltech

Trigger (NE) - Black / Goes to (Y) on haltech
    Home (G1) - not used
Home (G2) - Green / Goes to (G) Green on Haltech
Earth (G-) - White / Goes to (L) BLue on the haltech

hope this helps... i had to write it twice!!

Connect the NE signal to pin 6 yellow wire of the E6x. Pin 13 connects to one of the G1 or G2 signals. Doesn't matter which as long as you tell it where the tooth is in relation to #1TDC, although one is much closer to TDC than the other. If you're not running an E6x, you'll have to figure out the rest yourself to whatever ecu it is that you are running.

Also, with any ecu which runs separate grounds to take the CAS apart(yeah, the part that says do not remove or whatever) and rewire it so each sensor has a separate ground as the crosstalk between the signals due to the common ground is pretty bad.

Grant #2, I'd run a megasquirt if I were you. You're in America, you can get EDIS-4 modules easily and there's plenty of help available for edis set up 4age's. As opposed to the MS2Extra which I want to do.
