Yeah thats what im feeling ATM.

I really do like the BMW/Mazda coffee browns... but the blue has really grown on me and I reckon the whole car will look fresh to death painted that colour, with the height/fitment/stance it'll have.

Did a bit of work on it today, dropped the oil, still reeks of fuel, ran more cheap 20W 50 through it for 30 mins or so, took it around the block a few times.

Came home, dropped it again, put in some Motul 4100 20W 50 with a new filter, also installed my A.R.T sandwich plate, drove it around the block a few times again, feels a shitload better, isnt blowing any exhaust smoke, but it's still fuming out of the catch can.

I think Im gonna just thrash it until it REALLY lets go. I just want to drive it now. It feels AWESOME to drive, so punchy and responsive, I couldnt help sinking my foot every gear. I dont think my neighbours share the same sentiments LOL.

Also put the bonnet back on, picking up some pins and some harness eye bolts tomorrow arvo, but all Im really waiting for is the LCA's.... then the real fun begins. Hopefully most of the car will be done next weekend... Ive specifically taken saturday off so I can do some work.

Didnt bother taking any pics... would have been just the same ol' hardparked shit LOL.

Cheers mate. Been quite a while since I have liked a car this much.

I bought a pair of Roller's sigma arms Dave.

and no it's not all fine LOL. It's still not running as well as it should be.

Still breathes a lot of oil, fumes like fuck out of the catch can, but Im at the point where I dont care. Im replacing most of the internals anyway, so Im hoping to bring it out on the dawn cruise, and go from there.

It's getting aligned sat morning, so i have all weekend to work on it and flare the guards/fix wiring/etc...

Will do. Least Ill actually have something interesting to take pics of now.

Hope so. I know Ive got a fuckload of flaring to do... but should be able to manage it.

Minimum by the end of the weekend the car will be aligned and heights set, and hoping by sunday night Ill have the bonnet, boot and the kit all painted and fitted back up, and the front and rear flares all smoothed and painted. Basically how the car will sit until i have the cash to paint the whole car.

Right, LCA's are now here. i now have everything I need to put in on friday and for alignment on saturday; Adj. Castor arms, AJPS traction brackets, Sigma LCA's and Nobybooth Adj. tie rods. About the only thing left I want to do is a Quaife quick rack, and possibly stiffer rear springs (7KG) But that will have to wait a while.

Also forgot that I had taken annual leave on monday for a private day I was supposed to be driving at, but after the shit hit the fan with the motor I gave up my spot. Really wish i fucking hadnt now LOL.

So I have a 3.5 day weekend (I finish at midday on friday) to get a hell of a lot of work done.

Did the Noby Booth parts come with the car or did you order them yourself?

Came with the car. I had to replace the tie rod ends though. They were seized.
