Sweet car, whats the story with the engine?

ah the engine u see pictured had water run down the carbies. it was seized when i got it, but has all the good gear in it. So i freed it up honed it, an rebuilt it. its currently sitting on an engine stand awaiting instillation, 86 takes alot of my time.... like 8 hours of the day minus 16 hours sleep when im not at work

this is it, an it was smashed to bits during transit.... In the original car, not many photos of the engine rebuilt as yet.....................................

mmm the car was shot, never seen so much rust, worse than the japanese silver 70 with the quads. which could have been cool now i think of it. Got the engine here for $900 with a K50 so im happy enough

not yet, sitting on an engine stand still. was a pain trying to source parts from toyota cos i thought it was standard bore 4k so i bought 4k rings, then figured out its got 5k std pistons. Just need to get the carbies rebuilt too as they have had water run down them. An i need to figure a electronic distributor advance setup as the controller was missing when i got the engine. Think it might be a 7k distributor from a latemodel townace. But yeah ready to bolt in when i get round to it...... been toying with the idea of throwin the engine in an just running standard inlet an exhaust manifold then swap them to the good ones at a later date. Should howl pretty good
