Well its been a while again, and a small amount of progress has occurred as usual.

The car is now running and driving around with a healthy 4AC.

I finished the front half of the floor and painted it:

I let my XT130 LCA's soak in degreaser for 3 weeks and it even managed to strip paint off it worked so well:

I setup my Bride seat to fit with an adaptor plate I made up to suit the factory seat rails:

I also acquired a series 2 T-18 diff and a full JDM AE86 tailshaft to suit off riojin. The diff doesn't have any centre in it currently, but I'll put together something with some high ratio gears in the future:

And finally I brought home the SSR Super Fins, there is a full set, but this is the better of the 4:

They need a bit of work, one is pretty badly rashed and damaged and the remaining 3 are very coated in brake dust and generally need to be restored.... I see a few options with them though these being:
    1. Use them as is
    2. Get them restored then use
    3. Get them widened then use
    4. Sell them

Widening will be expensive, but they'll come up shmick... what do people think?
They are currently 14x6 offset not on the sticker.

They were just absolutely caked in grease, so I mixed up a bucket of degreaser and just left them in it. Then gave them a rinse with cold water and big chunks of grease just fell straight off.

I'm not in any hurry to use them so that's why I left them so long.

I did get a quote from Spot-on Wheel Repairs of $250 to completely fix and re-polish the fucked rim (which is out of round and has rash bad enough that it needs welding). But he said he couldn't get the materials to make up new outer shells so as such couldn't widen them for me.

I shall speak to Matt also.

    Well, nothing has changed!

Apart from acquiring a set of MA61's from work.

In other news, the reason why nothing has really changed is because I've been saving for this:

I decided its probably a better idea to get the tow car together before this.

    Yay update!

    Not really.

Just been stockpiling tyres. All 185/60's from work.

    I'm up to:
    6 Kenda Komets
    4 Sonar SX-608's
Another couple of pairs and 2 singles.

Well, time for a thread resurrection hey.

I still have the car, its a still a turd, but its all about to change.

I've just put my money down for an AE101 GZE half cut.

And ordered a 4A-W5X bellhousing. So engine and gearbox are happening.

I'll update the first page with the plans.

Also interested if anybody has any first hand experiences of a T series breaking behind a 4AGZE. I can get an F-series plus 4.77's for a few hundred $$ but I don't have an LSD. But I already have the T series gear including the TRD 2 way.

How the car sits at the moment:

Its currently been rotting out front my house for the past 6 months as I haven't been using it.

    But its currently repping:
    - an extraordinarily leaky 4AC
    - a shitty T50 (with a C's short shifter haha)
    - blue interior
    - tired borg warner diff
    - Bride drivers seat
    - AE86 struts and brakes (wheel bearings shot)
    - Rough MA61's
    - About 380,000km's

So basicaly, it looks, sounds and drives like shit. Hence the need for a change.
